Today I removed clamav from my VPS, which was built into the mail service I run. There are a small number of users and a few thousand messages a week - I liked that I was probably offering some small protection to those people. However all have endpoint anti-virus and most are wise enough to know about malicious email attachments.
So Windows 7 is here. This blog post is rather outdated as far as that is concerned. What’s missing still is becoming more of a frustration though, as neither the HP P1006 or Canon laser printer I have are currently supported.
Another odd bug, this time in the RSS feed reader liferea. Ubuntu bug 208135 has the details, apparently the internal browser does not correctly use the proxy authorisation. However, the actual feed puller does, so this results in odd articles with no images. This is another one which should be fixed in “Karmic Koala”.
As for the Rhythmbox bug mentioned previously, that one does not seem to be fixed in current Karmic.
